About the role
Responsibilities: • Assess patients' health conditions and record medical histories. • Monitor vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. • Develop and implement nursing care plans. • Provide direct patient care and support during treatment and recovery. • Monitor patients for medication side effects and adverse reactions. • Maintain accurate medication records. • Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures. • Perform wound care and dressing changes. • Collect blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing. • Insert and manage IV lines as authorized. • Observe and document changes in patient conditions. • Report significant findings to physicians and nursing supervisors. • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when required. • Coordinate with doctors, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals. • Participate in nursing handovers and multidisciplinary meetings. • Support junior nursing staff and nursing students when required.
• Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) is an added advantage. • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited institution. • 5+ years of relevant experience • Strong clinical and patient care skills. • Compliance with infection control standards.
