About the role
Duties and responsibilities Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring and preparing of all Electrical related works as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules. Preparing all electrical work, shop drawings and as-built drawings, ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed and approved by the director. Ensure the distribution of the approved shop drawings with latest revision. Reviewing material and equipment submitted to ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the customer. Report to Manager immediate if any technical issues related to the work. Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the Electrical services that may affect construction. Preparing technical and material submittals. Attending technical meetings as directed by the project manager.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel, AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit. Basic knowledge of Egyptian code for electrical work and construction law Proficient typing and editing skills Skills Problem-Solving Skill: where you are often required to think logically and apply a particular rule or concept to a problem in order to solve it. Critical Thinking Skills: Critical thinking is a broad skill that can be applied to a wide array of situations, but it's just as important in electrical engineering. Enthusiasm for Learning: Electrical engineering is one of the fastest evolving and fiercely competitive engineering fields, so you'll need to be constantly up to date. It's also a good quality to possess for your professional growth and development, too, with the ability to learn new things quickly being highly valued by top employers. Communication Skills: There is barely a profession in the world where the ability to communicate isn't important, and electrical engineering is no different.
