About the role
Receive incoming materials and products and verify quantities and specifications against approved documents.Inspect received items and ensure their condition before storage.Arrange and organize items inside the warehouse according to the approved storage system.Record all receiving, issuing, and transfer transactions accurately in the system and warehouse records.Issue materials to different departments based on approved requests and documents.Monitor inventory balances and report shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving items.Conduct periodic and surprise inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.Apply inventory management methods such as FIFO / FEFO according to the nature of items.Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.Monitor product expiry dates when applicable.Prepare warehouse reports related to stock movement and inventory status.Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or any relevant university degree.5 to 10 years of practical experience in warehouse operations and inventory management, preferably in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.Strong experience in receiving, issuing, storing, and controlling inventory movements.Ability to handle warehouse documents and verify receiving, issuing, and transfer documents accurately.Good knowledge of inventory control procedures, stock counting, and discrepancy analysis.Proficiency in MS Office and preferably experience with ERP and inventory management systems.Strong organizational skills with high attention to details and accuracy.Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments such as Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure.Commitment to applying safety, quality, and warehouse procedures.Inventory accuracy and matching physical stock with system records.Reduction of stock loss and damage percentage.Accuracy and efficiency of receiving and issuing processes.Compliance with inventory counting plans and closing discrepancies.Warehouse organization and proper storage conditions.Compliance with approved warehouse policies and procedures.
