About the role
Provide senior-level technical and functional support for Hospital Information System (HIS)
Back Office modules, ensuring system stability, business continuity, data integrity, and optimal application performance.
Lead the resolution of complex technical issues, mentor junior support engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the support and maintenance of HIS Back Office modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Human Resources, Payroll, Billing, and Insurance.Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Configure and maintain system settings, business rules, and master data.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.Review, test, and validate system enhancements, patches, and new releases before production deployment.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior support engineers.Train end users and provide advanced functional and technical guidance.Generate, validate, and analyze operational and management reports.Coordinate with vendors, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and other IT departments to resolve critical issues and ensure seamless system integration.Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.Ensure compliance with hospital policies, information security standards, and healthcare regulations.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting Hospital Information Systems (HIS), ERP systems, or Healthcare Applications.Strong hands-on experience with HIS Back Office modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Payroll, Billing, and Insurance.Experience with SQL databases is required;
Oracle Database knowledge is highly preferred.Required SkillsAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of HIS configuration, system administration, and application support.Experience with Change Management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Incident Management.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
