About the role
To deliver high-quality Business and Economics instruction that develops students’ understanding of business concepts, economic principles, critical thinking, and real-world application while promoting academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
• Participate in curriculum development, professional learning, and school activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification (preferred or as required).Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in Business and/or Economics.
• Experience with international curricula is an advantage.Skills
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Effective classroom management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
