About the role
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by gathering and organizing financial data.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Prepare and submit invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for review and approval.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for all accounting records.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data entry.Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices relevant to the industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in QuickBooks, or Odoo or similar ERP systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Good command of the English languageStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and processes.Cairo Resident, Heliopolis or near- by residency are preferable
