About the role
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuing, and shipping of materials.Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and inspection reports.Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of raw materials, spare parts, finished goods, and consumables.Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials required for production and maintenance.Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventory, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth material flow.Implement inventory control practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) where applicable.Supervise warehouse personnel, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and training.Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Prepare warehouse performance reports, including inventory accuracy, stock movements, shortages, and obsolete materials.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize storage utilization.Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience managing raw materials, spare parts, finished goods, and production inventories.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar inventory management systems.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
