About the role
Handle procurement of mechanical spare parts, equipment, and consumables related to cement plant operations.Review and analyze technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings in coordination with the Mechanical & Maintenance teams.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.Prepare and issue RFQs, technical evaluations, and commercial comparisons.Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance to ensure on-time execution.Coordinate with warehouses and end-users to ensure material availability and optimize stock levels.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).1–3 years of experience in mechanical procurement, preferably in manufacturing.Strong knowledge of mechanical spare parts, rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, valves, and industrial machinery.Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
