Zid to Mrfqy migration: bilingual catalog and OAuth roadmap
Preserve English and Arabic product names from Zid's API while moving to pan-Arab shipping and payments on Mrfqy.
Zid merchants benefit from a mature Saudi admin. When your roadmap includes Egypt, Morocco, or multi-GCC fulfillment, Mrfqy maps Zid product payloads — including bilingual fields returned by GET /v1/products/ — into one storefront with 22 country packs.
Official Zid API import (coming)
Zid's OAuth flow uses Authorization plus X-Manager-Token headers documented at docs.zid.sa. Mrfqy will register as a Zid App Market partner so merchants can connect without manual CSV exports.
Until OAuth ships, export products from Zid admin as CSV and upload through Dashboard → Migrate → Zid CSV. Preview highlights SKU collisions and sale-price mapping.
Cutover checklist
Reconfigure shipping zones per country — Zid's Saudi defaults do not automatically become Gulf-wide zones on Mrfqy. Map provinces to Mrfqy subdivisions before going live.
Update Snapchat and Instagram catalog feeds to Mrfqy product URLs after import completes to avoid ad disapprovals.
Zid and Mrfqy both serve Arab merchants — choose migration when geography, not features, is the bottleneck.
