About the role
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all equipment and facilities.Supervise corrective maintenance activities and ensure prompt resolution of equipment breakdowns.Establish and maintain maintenance policies, procedures, and standards.Lead, manage, and evaluate the maintenance team to ensure high performance.Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure their effective execution.Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.Develop and manage the maintenance budget and control maintenance expenses.Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.Coordinate with suppliers and external contractors regarding maintenance services and agreements.Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.Participate in equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational continuity.Supervise the installation, commissioning, and startup of new machinery and equipment.Implement and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to improve maintenance efficiency.Monitor equipment performance and recommend actions to improve reliability and productivity.Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities and records.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in maintenance management within manufacturing or industrial environments.At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.Experience with maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost control.Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is preferred.Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is an advantage.Professional certifications in Maintenance Management, Reliability, or Lean Manufacturing are considered a plus.
