About the RoleWood Workers is looking for an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Alexandria. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting wood materials and monitoring the quality of our handcrafted wooden accessories throughout the production process, ensuring every product meets our quality and craftsmanship standards before reaching our customers.### Key Responsibilities* Inspect incoming wood materials, hardware, and accessories to ensure they meet company quality standards.* Conduct quality inspections at different stages of production for wooden accessories.* Perform final quality checks on finished products before packaging and shipping.* Ensure products meet approved specifications, dimensions, finishing, and overall craftsmanship standards.* Identify defects, document findings, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.* Monitor compliance with quality control procedures and recommend process improvements.* Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.* Ensure only approved materials and finished products proceed to the next production stage.
4 to 6 years of experience in quality control within the woodworking, wooden accessories, furniture, or wood manufacturing industry.* Strong knowledge of wood materials, finishes, hardware, and quality inspection techniques.* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects in materials and finished products.* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.* Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills.* Based in Alexandria and available for full time on site work.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is passionate about quality and craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring every wooden accessory meets the high standards that define Wood Workers.
