What You Will DoLead the digitization and indexing of physical and digital records across all departmentsDefine and maintain the group-wide document classification framework, naming conventions, and retention scheduleManage the enterprise content management system (OpenText) as system ownerCoordinate and support department champions to ensure consistent compliance with records standardsHandle document access requests and maintain access control recordsConduct periodic audits to ensure classification, naming, and retention rules are followedDevelop and deliver simple training for staff on records management proceduresFlag documents due for review, destruction, or transfer according to the retention scheduleMaintain a physical archive in parallel with the digital system
3 to 6 years of experience in records management, document control, or information managementHands-on experience with an enterprise content management system (OpenText, SharePoint, or similar)Strong attention to detail and ability to build structure from scratchComfortable working across departments and managing multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of Egyptian legal retention requirements (commercial, tax, labor) is a strong plusBackground in a regulated industry (financial services, manufacturing, food, or similar) is preferredProficient in Arabic and English, written and spoken
