About the role
Job Description:The Technical Office Engineer is responsible for preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, material take-offs, and production documentation for Slim X aluminum windows, doors, curtain walls, and façade systems. The role acts as the technical link between sales, design, production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
EducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.Experience2–5 years of experience in technical office engineering.Previous experience in aluminum systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, or façade engineering is highly preferred.Technical SkillsExcellent AutoCAD skills.Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software is an advantage.Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office.Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.Knowledge of aluminum fabrication methods.Understanding of façade engineering principles.Familiarity with glazing systems and hardware.Experience preparing BOQs, BOMs, and MTOs.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Good communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills.Team player with the ability to coordinate across departments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with premium aluminum systems.Knowledge of European façade systems and standards.Familiarity with CNC fabrication processes.Understanding of manufacturing workflows.Experience with ERP systems.
