About the role
Develop mechanical design drawings and calculations (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).Prepare load calculations, equipment selection, ducting/piping sizing, and pressure loss calculations.Produce and review design drawings (layouts, schematics, risers, details).Ensure compliance with codes and local authority requirements.Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and structural teams to avoid clashes.Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications.Support value engineering and cost optimization.Provide technical support during construction and respond to RFIs.Identify and implement design improvements for manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency.Document designs, prepare reports, and maintain project records.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.4-7 years of experience in Mechanical design.Proficient user of AutoCAD software and advanced mechanical design software.Revit MEP is preferred.
