About the role
Conduct inspections of all civil and structural works, including site preparation, earthworks, grading, and drainage.Inspect pile and RC foundations, cable trenches, access roads, perimeter fencing, and ancillary civil structures.Review EPC contractor civil ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.Witness geotechnical and material testing, including soil compaction, concrete cube testing, and rebar inspection.Issue and track NCRs related to civil construction defects and non-conformances.Review concrete mix designs, material certifications, and third-party laboratory test reports.Inspect mounting structure foundation bolt installations and verify against approved structural drawings.Participate in pre-pour inspections, formwork checks, and post-pour visual reviews.Coordinate with the Electrical QA/QC Inspector on underground cabling and ducting quality.Maintain organized civil inspection records and photographic documentation.Prepare civil QA/QC status reports and support final acceptance activities.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 7 years of civil construction inspection or quality control experience.At least 3 years of experience on renewable energy, power, or heavy civil projects.Solid knowledge of geotechnical, structural, and construction material standards.Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and civil construction quality documentation.Experience with EPC contract inspection roles is preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review is advantageous.
