About the role
Job Brief:The Site Engineer supervises day-to-day construction operations, coordinates with contractors and subcontractors, monitors project progress, and ensures compliance with technical drawings, specifications, safety regulations, and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise construction activities on-site.Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Verify quantities and assist with material procurement and inventory management.Participate in project meetings and maintain site documentation.Ensure work is completed according to applicable codes and standards.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.2–5+ years of construction site experience (depending on seniority level).Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
