About the role
Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, remote access, or in person.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues.Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, operating systems, and peripheral devices.Create, manage, and close support tickets according to SLA requirements.Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams when necessary.Set up user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions.Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including device preparation and account setup.Perform routine maintenance, updates, and software installations.Maintain IT inventory, including computers, accessories, and software licenses.Document technical issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures.Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.Support meeting room technology, video conferencing systems, and office IT equipment.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support role.Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL, or similar) are an advantage.
