About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth across freight forwarding, container trucking, and logistics services. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, an established network within shipping and logistics sectors, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships while achieving sales targets.Key Responsibilities:Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, container trucking, and logistics services.Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, trading companies, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port operators.Promote company services including:Sea Freight (FCL / LCL)Air FreightLand Transportation & Container TruckingCustoms ClearanceWarehousing & DistributionCross Trade & Project CargoPrepare competitive quotations, logistics solutions, sales proposals, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.Conduct regular client visits, business meetings, and networking activities to expand market presence.Negotiate contracts, rates, service agreements, and commercial terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and timely collection of receivables.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies effectively.Maintain and update CRM systems, sales pipelines, forecasts, and management reports.Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPI’s.Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and business development initiatives.Support and mentor junior sales team members when required.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 3–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, container trucking, logistics, or shipping sales.Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, Egyptian ports, container trucking operations, and logistics processes.Existing customer portfolio and industry network are highly preferred.Excellent sales, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Strong customer relationship management and business development abilities.Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
