About the role
Coordinate international shipments (ocean/air/land) and customs clearance.Ensure compliance with phytosanitary regulations, export licenses, and trade agreements.Liaise with freight forwarders, port authorities, and government agencies.Track shipments and resolve logistics disruptions (delays, inspections, documentation errors).Optimize routing and freight costs while maintaining cold chain or bulk handling requirements.
2+years in export logistics, ideally in perishables.Knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and export documentation (Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin).Familiarity with agricultural seasons, container loading, and fumigation protocols.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
