- Oversee the procurement of non-technical goods and services, such as office supplies, facilities management, and maintenance services (MRO).- Support corporate initiatives by implementing regional and global agreements at the plant level.- Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive sourcing and effective negotiation for all categories of spend.- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery.- Conduct the full procurement cycle, including creating RFQs, issuing purchase orders (POs), managing confirmations, tracking deliveries, and resolving invoice discrepancies.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (production, planning, maintenance, and warehouse teams) to forecast material requirements and optimize inventory levels.- Monitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies to meet demand and mitigate supply chain risks.- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:- 1 to 4 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.- Preferred: Experience in the Cement, Heavy Industry, or Manufacturing sector.Essential Skills:- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes and ideally, familiarity with mechanical spare parts and industrial equipment.- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and perform cost analysis.- Systems: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) .
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics) is a significant plus.- Organization: Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities.- Procurement Knowledge: General understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
