The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, reviewing financial and operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
The role focuses on protecting company assets, identifying risks, detecting errors and irregularities, and providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support management decisions.
Responsibilities: Review and evaluate internal control systems and risk management procedures.
Conduct periodic audits across different departments and prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Review financial records, accounting systems, and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify risks, errors, and potential fraud cases and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
Participate in cost control and process improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in internal audit and financial accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
Excellent analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team under pressure.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and accounting systems.
