Pins & Corners Developments is seeking an experienced Technical Office Manager to join our Engineering Department and support the delivery of a mega mixed-use development project.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all technical office activities, reviewing engineering deliverables, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all Technical Office activities throughout the project lifecycle.Review, audit, and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.Review engineering designs, IFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents issued by consultants.Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines to ensure design integration and eliminate conflicts.Identify design discrepancies and constructability issues and coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve them.Provide technical support to site teams and ensure proper implementation of approved drawings and specifications.Review Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Queries (TQs), and Variation Orders (VOs).Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, local regulations, and quality requirements.Participate in value engineering studies to optimize project cost, quality, and constructability.Coordinate with Procurement, Project Management, Cost Control, and Site teams regarding technical matters.Monitor consultants' and contractors' technical performance and ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables.Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and management presentations.Maintain proper documentation and technical records throughout all project phases.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.12 –15 years of relevant experience in the construction and real estate industry.Proven experience as a Technical Office Manager.Previous experience within an Engineering Consultancy firm is highly preferred.Hands-on experience in delivering large-scale mixed-use development projects is a must.Strong knowledge of engineering design review, shop drawings, material submittals, and construction documentation.Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, project specifications, and technical standards.Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Excellent command of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and Primavera is an advantage.
