Accountant

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Provide support in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Assist in the preparation for tax audits and coordinate with external tax advisors.Monitor and analyze operating expenses, providing insights to help management make informed financial decisions.Support the budgeting process by tracking actual vs. budgeted expenses.Work closely with the finance team to improve accounting processes and reporting systems.Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial operations. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fintech or e-payment industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
