Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and hands-on Commercial Laundry Maintenance Engineer to join our growing After-Sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting of heavy-duty industrial laundry equipment.
You will work closely with our After-Sales leadership, local factory, and client engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performance and zero operational downtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning: Lead the site setup, electrical/plumbing connections, testing, and final commissioning of commercial laundry systems (including high-capacity washer-extractors, tunnel washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, and folders).Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance contracts and respond swiftly to emergency breakdown calls across client facilities (hotels, hospitals, industrial laundries).Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and steam/heating system failures on-site.Client Training & Handover: Conduct operational and safety training sessions for client engineering staff upon project completion.Parts & Factory Coordination: Identify required spare parts using technical manuals, coordinate with our internal Spare Parts team, and provide field durability feedback to MASRIA Group's manufacturing division.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.Experience: 3 to 6 years of direct experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial or industrial laundry machinery.Technical Expertise:Strong background in industrial electrics, PLC control systems, and pneumatic components.Solid understanding of steam circuits, water heating, and high-pressure pumps.Ability to read complex electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.Language: Good command of English (ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and communicate with overseas suppliers).Attributes: Strong field troubleshooting skills, customer-focused attitude, and ability to work under high-pressure breakdown scenarios.Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites across Egypt as needed.
