Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Caterpillar (CAT) heavy equipment to join our team in Yemen.
The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in Caterpillar machinery.
The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Yemen and work in a challenging field environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on the electrical systems of Caterpillar heavy equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and control system faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.Inspect, test, and maintain electrical wiring, sensors, control modules, alternators, starters, batteries, and other electrical components.Troubleshoot engine management systems, electronic control modules (ECMs), and CAN bus communication issues.
Periodic Maintenance and top and major overhaul of Caterpillar Engines.Ensure maximum equipment availability by minimizing electrical downtime.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Coordinate with mechanical engineers and technicians to resolve equipment issues efficiently.Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.Support equipment commissioning, testing, and operational readiness.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.6–10 years of experience in electrical maintenance of heavy equipment.Proven hands-on experience with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment is mandatory.Strong knowledge of heavy equipment electrical systems, electronic controls, sensors, wiring, alternators, starters, batteries, and engine control systems.Experience using Caterpillar diagnostic software and electrical testing equipment is highly preferred.Specific experience on Cat 3600/ 3500 and C models required.Fully conversant with Caterpillar service systems including SIS /TMI.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to relocate to Yemen.BenefitsCompetitive salary package.Accommodation provided.Round-trip flight tickets provided.
