Job DescriptionAs part of a human resources team, a recruitment specialist is responsible for the entire recruiting cycle and undertakes all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires.
Recruitment specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.Ultimately, a recruitment specialist is responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities:Create and publish job ads in various portals.Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during eventsScreen resumes and job applications.Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles.Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.Design, distribute, and measure the results of candidate experience surveys.Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.Reports on quarterly and annual hiring plans.Reports on hiring progress weekly and monthly.Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to set qualification criteria for future employees.
The intern will learn: How to hire from A to Z Duration: 3 month
Education: Open for 3rd or 4th-year university students (undergraduates) from the Faculty of Commerce, Arts, or any relevant field—English section/department.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with candidates.Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.Learning Agility: Highly motivated to learn quickly about recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and HR tools.Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential candidate data professionally.
