Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures in accordance with international codes and standards.Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and technical documentation.Develop, review, and verify structural drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.Coordinate with fabrication, production, project management, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.Review project specifications, client requirements, and contract documents.Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.Optimize structural designs to achieve cost efficiency, safety, and performance objectives.Provide technical support during fabrication, manufacturing, and installation phases.Resolve design-related issues and respond to technical queries from internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with quality standards and company engineering procedures.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes and design standards.
Minimum 3 years of experience including at least one year in steel structures design.Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to steel structures.Proficiency in Structural Analysis, including design of steel frames, connections, and load-bearing elements.Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and AutoCAD for creating and reviewing detailed engineering drawings.Hands-on experience with structural analysis software and connection design tools (SAP2000, Idea Statica, Etabs, Staad Pro).Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Knowledge of relevant international and regional design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, or equivalent).Experience in industrial or steel fabrication projects is highly beneficial.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex engineering problems.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.
