About DIVAZDIVAZ is a Cairo-based cultural and fashion platform and creative agency celebrating Egyptian and Arab creative identity.
We publish, produce events, and run the DIVAZ Bazaar, a curated commerce arm working with the region's designers.
We are a small team building something with real cultural weight, and we are hiring the person who will run our operating engine.The roleYou will own how DIVAZ runs day to day.
The founder sets direction.
You make it happen without him in the room.You will own:- Our project management system in Notion: every project has an owner, a deadline, and a status that is true- A weekly one-page status report: what is done, what is stuck, what needs a decision, with your recommendation attached to every decision- Operational decisions under a defined budget threshold, made by you, logged, not escalated- Deliverables across all departments, including the creative team: you track every deadline, chase every owner, and make sure nothing ships late.
Creative quality is judged by the founder; on-time delivery is judged by you- Launching and running our ecom stores: listings, orders, payments, fulfilment- Designer and vendor coordination: briefs out, deliverables chased, deadlines held- Day-to-day client and partner communication: once a relationship is opened, you run the follow-ups, updates, and delivery coordination so the founder is only involved at key moments– Event operations: for every DIVAZ event, one live tracker covering all external parties (venue, sponsors, vendors, designers, press), every confirmation chased in writing, a run-of-show locked 72 hours before doors, and Amr briefed on exceptions only.You will work alongside our accounting and logistics coordinator and report directly to the founder.Short screening call, then a small practical test, then physical interview with the offer.
We move fast: the process closes within three weeks.
Who we are looking for- 3 to 7 years running operations, projects, or e-commerce, ideally in fashion, retail, events, or a creative startup- You have shipped something real: a store, a launch, an event, with money and a hard deadline on the line- You bring recommendations, not questions.
When something breaks you fix it, then report it- Strong written communication in English and Arabic- Hands-on with tools: Notion, Claude, Shopify or any platforms is a plus, spreadsheets without fearCreative tools for quick fixes in a plus (Adobe suite, Canva or similar)What this role is notThis is not a creative role and not an assistant role.
If you need daily instructions to function, this will not work.
If you get energy from making things run on time while everyone else is busy making them beautiful, this is your job.
