عن الوظيفة
Type: Full-time, remote (Egypt-based).About CaleDONYA: A new UK-registered travel startup bringing Gulf families to Scotland, offering services related to flights, hotels, car rentals and curated experiences.
We're early-stage, and we'd love our content to feel like a real, distinctive brand from day one, not another generic travel-agency feed. What this role actually is: This role goes beyond regular posting; you'll be the person shaping how CaleDONYA looks, sounds, and tells its stories, turning offers into content people genuinely enjoy watching rather than scroll past.
You'll also be our eyes on Scotland as a destination: exploring the activities and moments worth sharing before we ever film them and looking after our presence across Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat day to day.
Responsibilities:Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat, with content, Stories, and engagement tailored to each platform.Explore Scotland as a destination, and discover activities, hidden spots, and experiences that would genuinely appeal to our audience: Gulf families, couples, and friend groups.Shape what you find into a story rather than a listing, think "a day in Edinburgh with a Gulf family," told with warmth, humour, or a bit of drama, rather than "book now, 5 days, $X."Write and structure short-form video scripts (a strong hook in the first couple of seconds, good pacing, a CTA that feels natural) adapted to each platform's style and audience, keeping in mind Snapchat's strong Gulf audience deserves its own approach.Help set the creative direction across our content: visual style, tone of voice, pacing, what makes people want to keep watching.Work closely with the designer, guiding them with a clear creative concept for each piece.Keep an eye on what's resonating on each platform (watch time, shares, saves, not just likes) and use that to shape what comes next. What we'll explore together in the interview: we'll ask you to research 3 real Scottish activities or spots and share your thinking in a few sentences or a rough storyboard on how you'd turn one into a 30-second story that would appeal to a Gulf family or couple, and how you'd adapt it differently for TikTok versus Snapchat. What's In It For YouWork from home, fully remote, Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (8 hours a day), weekends off.Competitive salary, with clear room to grow as CaleDONYA scales.Performance-based incentives, bonuses tied to results you can actually see: bookings driven by your content, engagement/growth milestones, campaign performance.
Your wins get rewarded directly, not buried in a flat salary.A ground-floor role: join as the creative lead of an early-stage travel startup, with the growth trajectory (and portfolio story) that comes with building something from zero.A genuinely fun product to work on: Scotland, travel, storytelling.
Requirements:Hands-on experience managing brand accounts on Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok, and Snapchat specifically.Strong written English, since a lot of the destination research and content planning happens in English, and that quality carries through into the final story.Strong Arabic copywriting too (Gulf-dialect awareness is a lovely plus).A portfolio or reel of content you've personally created, directed, or managed that performed well — we'd love to see the actual posts/videos and hear your thinking on why they worked.A good feel for short-form video storytelling: hooks, pacing, sound design basics, and what's trending across TikTok, Reels, and Snapchat.A natural curiosity for research, comfortable exploring blogs, reviews, local guides, and forums to find angles that feel fresh rather than repeated everywhere.Comfortable guiding others (like a designer or videographer) toward a shared creative vision.Nice to have: background in travel/lifestyle content, experience with influencer collaborations, basic editing skills (CapCut/Premiere).
