Tax Preparer for United States Taxes - Entry Level

We are looking for a Tax Preparer for United States taxes to be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses, providing exceptional client service, and staying current with evolving tax laws. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a supportive team and contribute directly to our clients' financial well-being.The office working hours will be between 3:00 pm to 12:00 am and during the time saving 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.Prepare accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals (Form 1040) and various business entities (e.g., S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships – Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065), as well as trust and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 709) as needed.Gather necessary financial documentation from clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Interview clients to obtain additional information and clarify relevant tax matters.Research complex tax issues and provide advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax returns, answering questions and explaining tax concepts clearly.Assist with tax projections and estimated tax calculations.Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.Stay up to date with current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous professional education.Utilize tax preparation software proficiently to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Assist with responding to tax notices from federal and state authorities.Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and performance during the final interview. MUST READ, WRITE AND SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY.Knowledge of preparing USA tax returns for individuals and businesses in a public accounting firm or similar environment. If no knowledge at all for US Taxes, training will be provided to the selected candidates.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Knowledgeable with tax preparation software (Lacerte, ProSeries, CCH Axcess Tax, CFS, Tax Tools Workshop) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak tax season.Client service oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor.
