The Electrical Technical Office & Tendering Engineer is responsible for studying tender documents, preparing quantity take-offs, estimating and pricing electrical systems, preparing technical submissions, reviewing shop drawings, and providing technical office support for electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, low current systems, and panel design.
The role ensures compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.3–5 years of experience in Technical Office & Tendering within General Contracting or MEP Companies.Strong knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution, Lighting Systems, Low Current Systems, and Panel Design.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.Good working knowledge of Decalux and ETAP/Eco dial.Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM is a strong advantage.Familiarity with IEC Standards and Egyptian Electrical Codes.Experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender pricing.Ability to prepare RFQs, Technical Submittals, Material Submittals (MAR), Method Statements, and RFIs.Experience in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), and cable routing layouts.Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.Excellent teamwork and coordination skills.Good command of written and spoken English.
