General Ledger Section Head

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented GL Section Head to join our Finance team at NILEWOOD, one of Egypt's leading MDF manufacturers. Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all general ledger operations and month-end closing cycles.Prepare and review consolidation reports across entities.Ensure full compliance with local taxation requirements (VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory obligations).Maintain and improve internal financial controls and GL accuracy.Lead and develop the GL team to meet reporting deadlines.Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts.Support external and internal audit requirements.Work closely with Oracle Fusion ERP for all GL-related transactions and reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 6–8 years of experience in a similar roleHands-on experience with Oracle Fusion (preferred)Strong background in taxation — VAT, WHT & local compliance (preferred)Proven experience in consolidation reporting (must-have)Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureExcellent leadership and communication skills
