A reputable construction company specializing in fit-out & joinery works for hotels and luxury projects , looking for a Junior QS Engineer Job Description: Study and interpret architectural, structural drawings as well as specifications, and tender documents thoroughly Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs for all civil, architectural, and finishing works in accordance with standard measurement rules and Method of measurement of tender. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) ensuring completeness and accuracy Identify and flag any discrepancies, ambiguities, or missing information in tender documents and raise it accordingly Prepare RFQ to send to different suppliers. the supplier’s quotations and compare them with the tender requirements. Negotiate with suppliers to get lowest price and best conditions.Assist in any other tasks as required within his scope of work.
Bachelor’s degree – Archticture / interior design Engineering. Determined at the time of recruitment. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills (English & Arabic ). Proficient in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point). Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Preferred residential area (for proximity to office) Nasr city – Zahraa Nasr city – Heliopolis – GesEl Suez – Fifth settlement – Maadi – Moqattam.
