Technical Office Management
• Lead and supervise the Technical Office team, ensuring efficient execution of engineering and operational activities.
• Oversee daily technical office operations and ensure smooth workflow across all projects.
• Participate in recruiting, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of technical office staff.
• Develop and implement procedures, standards, and best practices to enhance technical office efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with site teams, engineers, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to provide technical support and guidance.Engineering & Technical Support
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Ensure technical compliance with project requirements, company standards, and client specifications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Support other departments with technical requirements and engineering solutions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, technical, quality, and safety regulations.Tendering & Procurement Management
• Manage the full tendering cycle, including technical and financial proposals.
• Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical submissions, and bid documentation.
• Develop procurement plans and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Participate in supplier evaluation, negotiations, and selection processes.Project Planning & Cost Control
• Manage engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and control project budgets and monitor project expenditures.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and resource allocation strategies to support project execution.
• Analyze project performance and provide management with regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Achieve cost optimization through value engineering initiatives and supplier negotiations.Contracts & Commercial Management
• Review contracts, subcontracts, agreements, and commercial terms to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
• Manage variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondences.
• Evaluate contractual impacts and provide recommendations to management regarding commercial matters.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve contractual and commercial issues.Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee project invoicing, payment certifications, and financial tracking activities.
• Monitor project financial performance and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, dashboards, presentations, and management summaries.
• Develop professional PowerPoint presentations for management meetings, client presentations, and project reviews.Stakeholder Management
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and provide technical and commercial support when required.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.8–12 years of experience in Technical Office, Project Management, Tendering, and Cost Control.Experience within Facilities Management, MEP Contracting, Construction, or Engineering Services is preferred.Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, project planning, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control.Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with ERP systems and project management software is an advantage.Excellent command of English.
