The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient counseling.
The role also includes inventory management, regulatory compliance, customer service, and supporting the pharmacy's operational and financial objectives.Pharmacy location: close to Aero Sport Club
Patient CareDispense prescription medications accurately according to physician prescriptions.Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, contraindications, and appropriate dosage.Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.Provide recommendations for over-the-counter (OTC) medications when appropriate.Answer patients' medication-related inquiries professionally and accurately.Pharmacy OperationsEnsure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.Verify controlled medications are dispensed according to legal requirements.Maintain complete and accurate dispensing records.Ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently while maintaining accuracy.Support daily opening and closing procedures.Inventory ManagementMonitor medication stock levels.Ensure adequate availability of fast-moving medications.Report stock shortages and expired products promptly.Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.Ensure proper storage conditions for all medications, including temperature-sensitive products.Quality & SafetyMaintain high standards of medication safety.Report medication errors and near misses according to policy.Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.Follow infection prevention and occupational safety procedures.Customer ServiceDeliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism.Handle customer complaints effectively and escalate when necessary.Build positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers.TeamworkCollaborate with pharmacy assistants and other healthcare professionals.Support training of newly hired pharmacy staff.Participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in PharmacyPrevious community pharmacy experience is preferred.
