Job TitleElectrical Maintenance Engineer
Job SummaryElectrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the facility.
The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of electrical assets to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives, electrical panels, and power distribution systems.Repair or replace defective electrical components to restore normal operation.Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.Supervise electrical maintenance activities and oversee electrical technicians, including daily work allocation and follow-up.Systems & EquipmentSupport inspection, installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems and equipment.Follow up on plant electrical measuring instruments and perform calibration for various devices as required.Escalate and report any issues related to food safety to the Food Safety Team Leader in a timely manner.Comply with and support the objectives of food safety, occupational health and safety, environmental, and energy management programs.Safety & ComplianceEnsure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company standards.Report unsafe conditions and contribute to corrective actions.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.Monitor electrical power readings on a daily basis.Update electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation when required.Continuous ImprovementAnalyze recurring faults and propose permanent solutions.Support energy efficiency and reliability improvement initiatives.Collaborate with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to improve equipment performance.
Software SkillsMaintenance & Asset ManagementCMMS platform for work orders, spare parts, purchasing requirements, and tracking maintenance history.Engineering & Technical ToolsAutoCAD for reading and updating electrical drawings and schematicsBasic familiarity with electrical design and single-line diagramsUse of PDF markup tools for redlining electrical drawingsData & Reporting ToolsMicrosoft Excel for maintenance logs, basic analysis, and spare parts trackingMicrosoft Word for technical reports, procedures, and documentationMicrosoft PowerPoint for presentations and maintenance summaries

Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering.Graduation grade: Good or above (minimum cumulative GPA 2.4 out of 4.0 or equivalent).Fresh graduate.ResidencyAlexandria residentPersonal RequirementsMedically fit for work in an industrial environment.Working ConditionsFactory / industrial environment.Require shift work, and overtime based on operational needs.Exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and industrial equipment.
