A well-established MEP design consultancy based in Heliopolis, Cairo, with over 40 years of experience designing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its design office.This is a full-time, design role, with direct mentorship from senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:Design electrical power distribution systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects: load estimation, transformer and generator sizing, panel schedules, and single-line diagrams.Perform technical calculations: cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, etc.Produce detailed design drawings, schematics, and schedules using AutoCAD.Coordinate with the mechanical team, architects, and project managers to deliver fully integrated designs.Support projects during construction: site visits, inspections, and responding to RFIs.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.0–5+ years of experience in electrical / MEP design.
Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply; consultancy or design-office background is a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.Cairo resident able to commute daily to our Heliopolis office.
