We are seeking a qualified and safety-driven Mechanical Project Manager (Site) with dedicated experience in the Oil & Gas sector to join our project team.
You will lead the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of comprehensive fire protection systems while serving as a champion for HSE excellence on the field with reputed oil & gas firms.The current project location is in Rasheed for a period of 8-9 months.
Following project completetion, we are back in Cairo.System Installation: Supervise installation of fire water networks, gas suppression systems, water mist deluge valves, foam stations, and fire pumps.Alarm Installation / Coordination: Collaborate with electrical teams to integrate fire alarm systems, loops, flame and gas detection systems.HSE Enforcement: Manage daily Permit-to-Work (PTW) lines, conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and lead safety toolbox talks and ensure every member of the site team is up to the level required.Technical Compliance: Review mechanical & electrical shop drawings, resolve material/site clashes, and ensure alignment with project specifications.Inspections & Handover: Lead site inspections with clients and authorities, ensuring full compliance with NFPA and international standards.Prepare reporting and communicate with all end-user departments project update.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Minimum of [7] years of site experience strictly and a minimum experience of 4 years within the Oil & Gas Sector is a MUST.Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in NFPA codes (specifically NFPA 13, 14, 15, 20, and 72).Certifications: Valid NEBOSH IGC or OSHA certification is highly preferred or working knowledge.Skills: Strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strict zero-tolerance mindset for safety violations.The work location or rotation schedule (Cairo office with site rotation in Beheira) with nearby suitable accomodation.
