Role Description: -We are seeking a Civil Technical Office Engineer to support the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases of infrastructure projects.
The role involves reviewing engineering deliverables, performing quantity surveying, supporting procurement, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and international standards.The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, site teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution while meeting quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Key Responsibilities: --Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings, and technical documents.-Perform quantity take-offs (QS) and review subcontractor payment certificates and invoices.-Review MTOs, MRs, TBEs, and procurement packages.-Identify and manage Variation Orders (VOs), RFIs, TQs, and design clarifications.-Coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and commercial teams.Review supplier and subcontractor technical submittals and purchase orders.Monitor engineering progress and support construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering correspondence.Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
Qualifications: --Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.-Minimum 2 years of experience in a Technical Office role.-Experience in EPC projects.-Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, procurement, engineering coordination, and technical documentation.-Experience reviewing IFC drawings, BOQs, MTOs, MRs, RFIs, TBEs, and construction drawings.-Proficiency in AutoCAD, ASD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.-Professional proficiency in English with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
