Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the facility.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards.Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare reports with recommended preventive actions.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness training for employees and contractors.
Monitor compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe work practices.Support the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other safety control systems.
Ensure emergency response procedures are established, communicated, and periodically tested.Monitor environmental practices, waste management, and compliance with environmental requirements.
Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, training records, incident statistics, and corrective action tracking.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Management teams to improve workplace safety performance.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture and reduce workplace risks.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of industrial safety experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial facilities.
Valid HSE certification such as: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – preferred. IOSH Managing Safely – preferred.
Good knowledge of industrial safety standards, risk assessment, and accident investigation techniques.
Familiarity with local occupational health and safety regulations and international HSE practices.
