Key Responsibilities:Lead telecommunications engineering design across all project phases, including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, construction drawings preparation, and design optimization.
Ensure integration of Egyptian local telecom codes, international standards, and Chinese standards, delivering compliant, rational, cost-effective, and safe solutions.Prepare, review, and finalize telecom design documents, including system drawings, technical specifications, equipment lists, and calculation reports.
Scope covers communication, networking, low-voltage, and security systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated design.Localize designs according to Egyptian Engineering Standards (EES) and relevant government regulations, optimizing telecom solutions to meet local approval and permit requirements.Provide on-site technical support, addressing telecom issues during construction, participating in site handover, equipment commissioning, and inspection.Optimize telecom design for cost efficiency while maintaining system safety, conducting technical-economic analysis to enhance project profitability.Collaborate with Business Development/Commercial teams in preparing technical proposals for tenders, assist in answering technical queries, and contribute to the review of contract technical clauses.
Basic Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications or related fields.Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in telecommunications system design for buildings or industrial facilities.Skills:Familiarity with Egyptian government approval and permit processes for telecom systems.Ability to integrate multiple standards into practical, optimized telecom designs.
