Audio Technology is looking for a motivated, tech-savvy Junior AV Support Engineer to manage, operate, and maintain our high-end Audio-Visual, LED display, and sound systems.
This position operates on a rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous on-site technical support, which includes regular coverage during weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, and continuously monitor all onsite Audio-Visual equipment, multimedia displays, sound systems, and high-resolution LED screens during assigned shifts.- Provide seamless technical support for live presentations, corporate events, and daily showroom activities.- Quickly diagnose and resolve immediate hardware, software, connectivity, and signal flow issues to ensure systems remain fully operational throughout operational hours.- Track system performance, log technical incidents, and generate clear shift handover reports for management regarding equipment health and operational status.- Actively participate in online meetings and collaborate via remote troubleshooting sessions with tier-2 support or external vendors when complex issues arise.- Perform routine opening and closing system checks to guarantee all IT and AV equipment is fully functional.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or a relevant field.- 1–2 years of practical experience in AV technical support, event tech, or a showroom environment.- Solid understanding of AV signal routing, display setups, and audio configurations (including sound systems and LED screens).- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for data entry, logging, and presentation setup.- Strong IT literacy, including comfort with remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom).- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to create clear, organized technical logs and shift reports.- Full flexibility to work rotating shifts as part of a scheduled roster.
