The Foreign procurement manager is primarily responsible for leading the international import and supply strategy, managing relationships with foreign suppliers, and ensuring the flow of materials and services with operational efficiency and at the lowest possible cost.Researching and evaluating new global suppliers and ensuring raw materials meet technical specifications.Requesting, analyzing, and comparing price quotes and selecting the best options.Professionally negotiating prices, payment terms, and Incoterms.Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and payment terms with suppliers.Issuing purchase orders and monitoring their execution until final delivery.Overseeing international shipping operations, customs clearance, and ensuring timely shipment arrival.Ensuring adherence to import laws and regulations and maintaining all required licenses and certifications.Coordinating with shipping companies, customs brokers, and other relevant parties.Monitoring import and shipping documents and ensuring their completeness.Preparing periodic reports and analyzing international procurement data.Adhering to procurement policies, governance frameworks, and risk management guidelines.Leading the procurement team and preparing periodic reports analyzing supplier performance and import costs.
Experience in international procurement of grains, herbs, spices, and legumes.Experience in Foreign Procurement processesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in international procurement or import management.Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.Excellent Communication skills for building and maintaining international partnerships.Proficiency in understanding market trends and global business operations.In-depth understanding of Incoterms (International Trade Terms) and shipping and port procedures.Strong negotiation skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to manage crises under pressure.
